woah. its been more than 3 months since the last update! well, i guess i have no excuse for that. i have been really really lazy.
lets see, lots of things happened in the past 3 months. i can't believe a quarter of 2009 is over!
hmm... vietnam trip was fantastic. guess i wont post the photos here. we took far too many photos to be uploaded. haha. it was a great chance for me to get to know yanni, michael, rahul and tran more. i guess, we are all still growing and learning from one another. a fabulous experience indeed!
yea, alot of people moved onto blenheim street! yaye! and we are having a great time hanging out together :))
today's my birthday. happy birthday to me :)
had a 'surprise' birthday party on sunday at centennial park. it wasnt exactly a surprise in the end... but well, i still enjoyed myself alot! and im sure everyone that came had fun too. thank you to all who bothered to come... those that brought food and the card... and the kite... haha. thank you so much to beloved housemates/family/household or whatever you call it. hahahaha. mike and rahul rocks! of course tran too :)) haha. project photosynthesis was a success! oh, by the way that was the name for the secret birthday mission. hahaha. and some of them actually followed mike and rahul's instruction to wear green! so sporty! thank you so much people :) i really had fun.
yea... and well i didnt get a real surprise on sunday, i got one just now! haha. with mike trying to convince me that there's some problem with the toilet, i reluctantly moved out of my room and ta dah! i see people and cake and sparklers and flowers and bak choy (xiao bai cai) and grins and birthday song! hahahaha. i was so touched. actually wanted to sleep earlier... cos counting down to birthday sounded kindof weird to me... but stayed up cos was skype-ing with my friend... and then comes my surprise :) well, i don exactly like flowers or gardens... but i love the feeling of receiving a bouquet of flowers! ''i thought now no boyfriend means no flowers already!" haha that was what i exclaimed to tran when i saw the flowers! haha
well... and i broke my golden rule of eating in the middle of the night! haha. but it was worth it! the cake tasted superb... especially to be eating with the beloved blenheimers plus tran! awwwww... so sweet :) ahhh there goes my calories... hohoho. the present was a big surprise too. gym membership! oh my goooosh. thank you people.. i promise i will be hardworking in working out! :) i am not going to be fat anymore. hahaha
im twenty one. finally. im not sure if i have been looking forward to this day. but i dont feel exceptionally excited about it. its just another year. another birthday. but this time its memorable. when you have no expectations, thats when you derive the most joy and happiness... i thought i will spend a quiet birthday with no big parties or many presents... im really glad that i have this group of friends around me. and yea, especially my mike and rahul! there are times where i really feel like strangling them and jump out of the balcony myself... haha. but i guess theres no way i can deny that they brought me lots of laughter and comfort! enjoy crapping with them, seeing them talk nonsense which i can never catch, sharing hilarious incidents with them, telling them about the cute girl/guy i met, teasing one another about random stuff... well, i will love them more if they can take more initiative to do housework... haha :D
