well. met with my favourite group of people for breakfast/lunch at changi today and attended jooli's church service together after that. she invited us cos there was this guest speaker, nick vujicic. he was born without limbs and apparently after 25 years, there's still no scientific explanation for it. well, though the speech was largely religion related, i guess there are still some learning points and key ideas that are worth a deeper thought :)) circumstance vs me. sometimes i do find myself being controlled by circumstances and whine about how helpless or distressed i am. perhaps i should learn to take control of circumstances instead. i need to play a more active role in my life and not let myself get tied down by certain situations. yes, there are things that arent within our control. but there is bound to be things thats we can change or make use of. the main lead of my life is me. and i know i am going to put up a wonderful show :)) it was definitely inspiring and touching to be one of those on the floor. i guess alot of them from fcbc invited their friends to attend this session cos the hall was packed with people! there were quite a number of teenagers and young adults, which i thought was a good sign! sometimes i do feel that the younger generation is pretty deprived of some 'spiritual feeds'. hahaha :D hmm.. guess it was a fulfilling day spent.

my parents staying at home tonight to keep me company while sis is away! (though its more like me entertaining them.. haha)
