came across this little exercise in one of the chapters of the book that im reading currently. find it very meaningful :)) its the grateful journal. make it a point to list down 5 things that happened each day that you are grateful for. what it will begin to do is change your perspective of your day and your life. if you learn to focus on what you have, you will always see that the universe is abundant; you will have more. if you concentrate on what you dont have; you will never have enough. oh well. this is so true! start keeping a grateful journal too! we are often too unwilling to express our gratitude towards people and things. probably its due to the selfish pride that lies in many of us. expressing gratitude continually will help to break this kind of pride! :)
im grateful for...
the simple breakfast with dad at one of the old coffeeshops we used to visit when i was young
a good working partner today! hwee tian was really a great help at work
the polite and easy going patients i served today :)
