today was quite a great day. ITS STAY-AT-HOME DAY!! haha. had the luxury of sleeping in till 0930 while everyone else are off to work at 0700 :)) love it when no one wakes me up and let me sleep till i drop! haha.
okay. so i woke up at 0930, then went for a run and did some workouts in the gym. came back at around 1100. was helping grandma out in the kitchen when i decided to be the main chef for dinner today! haha. and my sis happily hopped into the kitchen and demanded for lunch!?! oh. she was still at home at the hour cos her O' level paper was in the afternoon. okkayy so i decided to be a nice sister and cook her lunch. she decided on instant noodles and i thought the usual way of cooking is wayyyyyyyyy too boring for me! so i gave it a twist! haha. pan fried some onions and minced meat. added some water + the soupbase powder that comes with the noodles and allow it to simmer alittle before pouring it over the already cooked noodles. oh i boiled some veggies too. its essential to have a balanced diet! :))

okay. after cooking lunch for the exam candidate, i got down to prepare some stuff that i need to cook for dinner. peeled the corn, washed the vegetables and blablabla... took a bath, grab a slice to marble cake + a cup of milk and started work on the com (shall not elaborate too much about that, nothing interesting..)
wanted to bake some 鸡蛋糕 so that grandma can have something for tea and i can bring to work tmr. HOWEVER, IT WAS A FAILURE! i dont know what went wrong?!! urggghh.. i guess its something not right with the batter.. i guess the eggs were not beaten well... :(( demoralising. but its pretty amusing to see how my 鸡蛋糕 turn out to be 塑胶糕 !!! haha. i didnt take a photo of that piece of rubber that came out from my oven... but its really rubbery. hahahhahhahahhaa. oh my goodness. and it was like greeeeen?!?! oh dear. i am sure i didnt add any colourings...
by the time i finish cleaning up the flour and sugar everywhere in the kitchen, its time to cook dinner! haha. so exciting. i even called my parents to reject all appointments for tonight and return home for dinner! haha. okay. i took photos of what i cooked for dinner :))

haha. nothing fanciful, but i love home cooked food :)) healthy and yummy! sis said the potatoes were great! haha. simply addicitive... true enough, she cant stop eatting that! hahahahaa.. okay this is quite a long entry, back to do some work... i still cant figure out why the cake turn greeen..
