At the end of life, there will be a common denominator for us all. Engraved on our tombstones will be a birth date, a dash and a death date. At the beginning of life you have no say. You have no input about your parents, siblings, economic status, neighbourhood, gender, or race. At the end of life, you will not be able to 'buy time' and spotpone the inevitable. Your whole existence, short or long, is represented by the dash. there lies the cumulative effect of the many choices you make each and every day of your life. What will your dash show? Will it show he life of someone who chose to build, to contribute, to create, to lead, to act, to nurture, to think, to enrich, to cooperate, to care and to love in a way that leaves a rich legacy behind? Thd dash is yours, yours alone. Cherish it. Let it burn bright. Remember its source. BEHOLD!
interesting paragraph from the book A is for Attitude by Patricia Russell-McCloud. a very nice way to view life :))
