haha. attended the young leaders conference yesterday! haha. it was quite okay la. some speakers were quite good but most of the time i was self entertaining :) oh and something really sad happened yesterday. we went out for lunch at expo hall 3 and there were just so many students around la. then there's this boy that bought a plate of rice, placed it on the table and went back to the foodcourt to get a drink. eh. did i mention that we are sitting outside the foodcourt. so its like outdoor la. then when he left his table, one flock of birds came over and started feeding on his food! oh my gosh. it was like so scary la. they finished half the plate of rice within few minutes?!? then the boy came back and he was so sad! :( he was alone in the first place. he then sat down in front of the half eaten plate of rice looking very sad! oh my gosh. i was like what the hell. when the birds were there, none of the people sitting beside his table bothered to stand up and chase them away? i was rather ashamed that i didnt ran up to shoo the birds off too. but when i decided to stand up and offer him some money to get another plate of rice, someone from another table gave him money too! at least i feel so warmth there. people are just so selfish at times la. come on. lets learn to give and share! i feel i am richer by 5 bucks now not because i managed to save the money that i wanted to give him initially, but i know my ai xin definitely worth more than that!
oops. i better get going. late for movie le. oh. happy birthday grandma! love ya lots :)
